YG Arrested & Charged For Robbery

YG was arrested early Friday morning (Jan 24) at his San Fernando Valley, California home for an alleged connection to an ongoing robbery case.
The L.A. County Sheriff’s appeared at the rapper’s home at 4 am and took him into custody with a search and arrest warrant. He has been booked for robbery.
Recently, a SUV linked to YG was involved in high-speed chase that resulted in a fatal shooting. In July of 2019, police was in pursuit of a DUI suspect inside an Escalade registered under the rapper. YG was not present, but the shootout left a 65 year-old male on his bicycle dead. YG’s Hollywood Hills home was raided weeks later and police took a man into custody for weapons. YG was not present during the raid.
As of now, the two incidents are not linked and the specifics of the robbery for his arrest has not been revealed.
YG is scheduled to take part in the Nipsey Hussle tribute during the 62nd annual Grammys on Sunday (January 26) at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles.
