Back for his second album of the year. Lil Durk gets vocal and emotional with his sixth solo album, The Voice.
Dedicated to his OTF affiliate King Von who was murdered in Atlanta in November, the Chiraq veteran reflects on his come up (“The Voice“), questions love and loyalty (“Stay Down“) and laments on his struggles and pain (“Backdoor“). At 16 tracks, guests include the late King Von, Young Thug, 6LACK, YNW Melly, and Booka60.
Despite the tragic loss of King Von, Lil Durk’s had a successful year in music including his OTF’s LP Family Over Everything, his very own Just Cause Y’all Waited 2 album, and the hit collab with Drake “Laugh Now Cry Later“.
