Re-mastered and re-done comes the first single from The Weeknd’s upcoming Trilogy. The track was featured on last year’s mixtape, House of Balloons.
His music is interesting. In the Prince way.

I don’t like that its edited but it sounds even better besides that
Can’t wait for the trillogy.
I preferred the original’s intro more so, over the drum-kick start up on this one, and I don’t like how the profanities are edited out, but I know they’re trying to make the song more radio friendly, but this one does sound better other than that.

this song is so dope but im tired of the Weeknd not getting the recognition he deserves… like look at the fucking tag you gave him “the Weekend” you people make me sick.. esp in a time in age where R&B is stronger and consistent than Hip-Hop right now

I think the original is better, I hope I’m not so used to the original songs that I end up hating the remastered versions
It’s nice to hear him not sounding like he’s singing in a subway tunnel…but half the appeal of his music was the grittiness…this new remaster kind of took all that away.
im feeling the mastered version and “Wicked Games” was the right song to release as a single.
favorite song from this guy and this remastered version actually sounds dope af. need that explicit tho!!
This is my favorite Weeknd track, BUT the original is better for me.
i was excited for this project until i heard this. doesn’t sound right. why couldn’t they just do some EQ and limiting? why change the drums & sounds? if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. a simple change of drums and it sounds like they’re going for a rock radio format thing.
original is better, they should just leave everything as it was. this dont sound as raw
