Everyone and their mama attended Reebok’s “Reethym Of Light” last night in NYC. The event was part of their new ad campaign with Swizz Beatz. Video recording wasn’t allowed, but NY Clout turned a blind eye and filmed Swizzy and Banks performance of “Start It Up”.

Weeks after unveiling his first Reebok design, Swizzy introduced his “Grape Juice” line. In the latest issue of XXL, he gives more insight on the deal and says that he’s working with sneaker company to use art inspired by Jean-Michel Basquait for the kicks. A couple of weeks ago, Swizz Beatz unveiled his sneaker collaboration with Reebok. Vlad caught up with Swizzy and discussed his partnership with the brand.

This past October, Swizz Beatz announced he was designing an Aston Martin. Now, he’s partnered with Reebok on a new sneaker line. No word as to its name nor release date. Swizzy lit up his Instagram account earlier with a photo of himself and Rozay alongside Reebok CEO, Uli Becker. Before the photo op, Footwear News tweeted the following quote from Becker: “It’s unfortunate because he’s a great guy, he just has stupid advisors around him.” eskay
