Getting arrested three times in one day? That's the shit we don't like. Getting a feature placement on Kanye West's new album is a great look—Being behind bars isn't. Haven't we seen this movie before? This Chiraq MC and trouble are synomnous. Drive slow, young homie.

The whole 2 Chainz robbery fiasco. The culprits. Tit for initially denying it and you fuck boys on the Internet who made him feel like he should. Ain't no shame in defending yourself by fists or by feet. It ain't safe in these streets.

Back at the Band of Ballers tournament, DJ Holiday coerces Cam’Ron into doing a mixtape together. Sounds good, but I doubt if this ever happens doggie.
“Me and Cam need to do something … a Holiday Season or something. I know you know the brand,” the DJ said, referring to his popular mixtape series.
“I could do a mixtape in three hours,” Cam challenged. “Let’s stop talking and do it.”
“I can block out about four hours, and we knock out a Holiday Season and make a classic,” Holiday said. “I know you make mixtapes with everybody, but when you do one with the kid, it’s a little different experience.”

In case you haven’t heard, Sha Money XL was recently named Senior VP of A&R at Def Jam Records. Congrats! Sha talked to MTV about his new job and possibly bringing 50 and the Unit to the house Russell built.
“I spoke to Fif, to [his manager Chris] Lighty. I would love to see that there,” Sha admitted. “Banks has an amazing record right now, independently. If things work out, then yeah, I would love to see that happen. The beef stuff, I’m over. We at a certain point in life where we don’t even need that. We eat that. So I will let them speak for their own, but honestly, I would like to see a company continue to grow. And I think G-Unit is in a position — coming from an independent space — that can continue to do their thing. I would like to provide an opportunity for them to continue to grow.”

Outside the event, she told the paps that she’s “possibly” coming out with new material. L Boogie’s first (and last) solo album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill was released nearly 12 years ago. No Unplugged. Keep your fingers crossed.

Word on the curb is that Dr. Dre will make a surprise appearance at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival this weekend. The three-day event kicks off tomorrow and is headlined by Jay-Z. Rumor has it that the tandem will finally premiere “Under Pressure“. Of course, this is all hearsay. Or is it? Today, I stumbled across a tweet from Chef Jeremiah, who since yesterday, has been on the ground taking flicks. And unless his ears deceive him, the doc’s mic sounds nice. Could be xxplosive.

At the 4:53 mark of Jas Prince’s Ustream broadcast last night, Drake says he feels people try to pit him against J.Cole. He admits that Jermaine is one of his favorite up-and-coming rappers and said that they plan to work together. How soon? Place your bets here.
