Time to chuck the deuces? Rumors are circulating today that Def Jam has fired L.A. Reid. For six years, Reid has served as the label’s Chairman after founder Lyor Cohen’s departure. Although he’s had success with artists like The Killers and Justin Bieber, he faced scrutiny for signing acts like Jennifer Lopez and Shyne. Let’s see how this one unfolds.

UPDATE: XXL reached out to a label rep who said, “[The rumors] are completely untrue and without merit.”

DJ Whoo Kid spoke to VIBE on Fif’s Twitter takeover, G-Unit’s recent EMI deal and more. Whoo Kid also mentions that 50 and Ye actually discussed working together—even heading out on tour.

After rehearsing the song during rehearsals on Friday, sources believe that Taylor will be premiering the new tune during her performance tomorrow night.

It seems as if 50′s turned over a new leaf. In an interview with 1515, the rapper says that for his next project, he’s willing to work with talented artists—including Kanye West.

“I sat with Swizz [Beatz]; I’mma try to get in with him. Don’t even be surprised if you hear me and Kanye, just talented artists — period. I’mma collaborate and make a monster this time. Ain’t nobody off limits to me in my head. If creatively they have something they feel is something for the project, I’m with it.”
