Now that Tha Dogg Pound has buried the hatchet with the thugs from Cleveland, Kurupt confirms with HHDX that a collaborative album titled, Thug Pound is on the way.

“Right now we’re fixing to be working on a Thug Pound album with all of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and all of Dogg Pound,” said the Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania-native. “…Snoop [Dogg], Daz [Dillinger], myself, Soopafly, Krayzie [Bone], Wish [Bone], Bizzy [Bone], [Flesh-N-Bone], Layzie [Bone], the whole ball of wax. These are new works.”

Kurupt even spoke on his new brotherhood with Layzie Bone.

“I found that a lot of times through disagreements you meet some of your best friends and family,” he told DX. “Me and Lazyie is like brothers. During the Death Row [Records] era, we were ready to tear each other apart. Now that’s one of my best friends. Layzie Bone is one of my best friends.”

Although Cudi’s no longer with Kanye, it’s still all good. His third solo LP, Indicud has landed this week at #2 on Billboard after moving 136,000 in it’s first week. That’s one giant leap for the man on the moon.

Grand Hustle’s first lady fired up her Twitter this afternoon and revealed that she has joined Island Def Jam. Below is what she said of her new label:

Life as an adult shouldn’t be so rough. Wu-Tang affiliate Shyheim Da Rugged Child ,was arrested on Friday following a raid of his Staten Island apartment.

According to reports, police found a revolver, ammo, heroin, Xanax, and other drug paraphernalia. He was arraigned in Stapleton Criminal Court on Saturday and is being held on $10,000 bail.

It’s funny how money changes situations. L Boogie left a NJ courtroom today with an extra two weeks to pay Uncle Sam. TMZ reports that a judge granted her until May 6th to fork over a $968,000 debt. If convicted, she facing up to 3 years behind bars.

Hill’s lawyer also indicated that she recently signed at multi-million dollar deal with Sony and plans to take a $650,000 loan for the debt.

The nature of my new business venture, as well as the dollar amount reported, was inaccurate, only a portion of the overall deal. Keep in mind, my past recordings have sold over 50,000,000 units worldwide, earning the label a tremendous amount of money (a fraction of which actually came to me).

Only a completely complicated set of traps, manipulations, and inequitable business arrangements could put someone who has accomplished the things that I have, financially in need of anything. I am one artist who finds value in openly discussing the dynamics within this industry that force artists to compromise or distort themselves and what they do, rather than allowing them to make the music that people need. Wiz Khalifa has announced this year’s Under The Influence Of Music tour and is bringing A$AP Rocky along on this go-round. The 20-stop tour begins July 7 in San Francisco.
