Fuck Harvey Levin and anybody that loves his celebrity news website. First you prematurely pronounce the impending death of Lil Wayne (Weezy Forgives. We Don't.) and then you try to link the horrific actions of one of the Boston Marathon culprits to our culture? "DEAD BOMBING SUSPECT: HEAVY INTO HIP HOP" You don't say? It's 2013 and most kids are into rap music. We've been penetrated pop culture, you cock suckers. "What's interesting... hip-hop lyrics are notoriously violent and often degrading to women." So our music is at fault in this tragedy? Let's be clear the only bombs my culture cosigns is DJ Funkmaster Flex's sound effects. Thirty Mile Zone is prone to post anything to get traffic. Fuck dude and his coffee cup. Get you a Rap Radar cup and drink with us in the winner's circle.
You Played Yourself
Oh Miguel. Leg droppin your fans? You ain't Hulk Hogan and that wasn't part of the program. That's no way to treat the adoring ladies, brother.

After Sunday’s big game, Lil Wayne, Drake and the rest of the YMCMB took their celebration to Escapade in Dallas along with tons of special guests. Up top, Weezy runs through his ode to the new Super Bowl champs courtesy of e6Media.
DJ Kool Herc’s currently recovering from kidney stones and released a statement to MTV about America’s shitty health care policy.
“We live in one of the superpowers of the world!” Herc said in a statement to MTV News on Tuesday (February 1). ” ‘Give me your tired, your poor … ‘ and then you don’t take care of them? There should be no weak ants in the colony. There shouldn’t be anyone fighting for health care! This has been going on too damn long! We fought for 1520 Sedgwick to get landmark status, and in 2007, New York State officially recognized it as the ‘Birthplace of Hip Hop.’ Now we are fighting for health care not just for me, but for everyone. I see this situation as another quest for me to shine light on a sensitive issue for the community. I’m an instrument of God. I’m here for a purpose and I want to be here for the solution.”

We’re 21 days into 2011, but here’s a new freestyle from 50 Cent to commemorate the New Year. Sounds like Fif’s got his swagger back—the shit talkin’ at the end doesn’t hurt either.
When was the meeting when the hip-hop nation got together and decided that we wanted Nas to make an album with one of Bob Marley’s sons. I didn’t get the memo. What’s next? Cormega & The Melody Makers? Although many praised this album when it was released last May, ask yourself the last time you actually took the time to listen to this. No real replay value. This project still feels like a comfy blanket Mr. Jones hid under while he battled the personal and professional dramas of the past year. Great art is made from adversity as Kanye’s MBDTF attests, let’s hope the fiery Nas found on the last verse of “Strong Will Continue” prevails in the new year and preachy slop like the Joss Stone and Lil Wayne-guested “My Generation” goes that way. We don’t need world music from one of hip-hop’s finest. We want more boom bap like you can find here. Let’s go Esco!

“All a nigga want for Christmas is another year”.
Mr. Jenkins told ya before and he’ll tell you again. He knows Big Meech—the real Big Meech—and he got him to appear on his new song which incidentally bears a title very similar to Rick Ross’ current banger. Hmm.
