The DJ’s name is Premier and he’s the… Royce. Nickel 9 proves he’s sharp as ever on that microphone. This is for the real hip-hop head in you. Bars on bars on bars

This is a super dope album with only a few songs you could skip depending on your taste. Surprisingly the only song i didn’t love was the one with Schoolboy Q and Killer Mike.

    • Billy Kincaid

I love that track. Common could’ve stayed home.

      • TheTruthHurts

Word I could agree with that, Royce was dope on that song by himself switching cadences when it sped up. I might just need more time and more listens for that one. The Jay Elect song took me a while but now I really like it.

    • Da Business

That was one of the better joints. Q snapped…

      • TheTruthHurts

To each their own, I didn’t feel like the beat was right for the 3 of them to all work on, but like I said to someone else here I might just need to give it more time and it could grow on me.

        • DIESELS DADDY

That was the best Q verse I’ve heard in a minute and Mike killed it. 2-3 songs didn’t’ hit me at first, but upon relisten they go even harder.

          • TheTruthHurts

I’m a big Q, Mike and Royce fan so I was surprised to not love them but I’ve been listening to it a few times since I wrote that even. This album is great.

    • Brian B.Dot™ Miller

you know you ain’t buy it, you cheap fuck

      • Batman

OMG B. Dot finally responded to a comment on RR’s top list!!! Notice he only gives mind to Mac Diesel, but whenever someone shits on these lists he gives no comments or explanations; which just furthers the proof that these list are totally biased.

        • diggz

he only responds to this fucktard lol

      • THE REAL mac DIESEL

      • that nigga cant even buy socks leave that boy aloneee

      • BIG MAC DIESEL

This was the best album of the year. This list is trash

  • Da Business

Dope Lp. That Ab-Soul verse tho, WHOA…

    • BIG MAC DIESEL

The Ab Soul verse was the weakest verse on the album. That’s a half dis, bc his verse was aight but with so many other standout guest appearances, this was the weakest. “I gotta a lot of passion”

  • Gordon

Good album, but Premiers beats get repetitive after a while.

  • ok album list off to a good start although cadillactica should be higher dont fuck this up YN

  • el jim chapo guzman

Number 9 YN you a fool for this one.

  • Caposet

That Jay Electronica verse this album was nuts. “So when the Angels heard me spit, they bit they lip, this shit is hard”

  • true story no lie

Should be number 1 or 2. Top 5 to me is this cocaine pinata, mega philosophy, p.t.s.d. & run the jewels.

  • blackbeltbreeze

the features on this album. underground kings alone. real cold. can’t rank that ross over this. or the nicki to be honest and i like the nicki.

i might disagree with yn and bdot at times, but i do respect that they make calls. and its blackowned. blogs are like barbershops or strip clubs. certain ones give you certain vibes. some you can hang out in & get to know people, and some are straight down to business. on rapradar, we commentors like it to be more of some hangout shit, yn don’t have time for that and wants it to be more like the 40/40 club or madison square. bdot occasionally does chill and understands more about the importance of building at the grassroots. either way, they make calls, which i respect, even when i disagree. if anything i wish they would go against the grain more. and be willing to piss people off even more.

    • The REAL

Black owned? Just like the Source. Don’t believe the hype.

      • blackbeltbreeze

REAL, you saying YN is the new Benzino?!?! Are him and BDot bout to drop an EP and have it ranked in 2015 top 10 albums? Noooooooooooo
