Still Listening, Never Too Late

Quentin Miller controversy aside, Drizzy kicked ass on this one. Turning the biggest Drake hater into a fan with harder-edged material. The vulnerable boy has grown into a confident man comfortable enough to call himself a legend and a God. The best keeps gettin’ better.—EW

Drake has put together his first front to back classic album. Drake last album made him the King of hip hop. But this mixtape/album leaves no doubt that the crown rests on the 6 God’s head. I can’t stop playing this album. It’s melodic, soulful in a bluesy Auto-Tune vibe way. The rhymes are crisp, sharp and bold but believable. I love Drake!!! I’ve loved him since he was on Degrassi. This album is the truth! There is no song I have to skip. I just listen to the whole thing until it’s over and majority of the time I’ll play it again. I always said that Drake worried too much about his legacy as one of the greatest. On “if your reading this it’s too late” Drake sounds like nothing but the greatest hip hop artist in the game right now. Salute to the 6 God. Classic album.

What? This was very far from a classic dude you’re dreaming. It was good though and he was rapping more. Classic is GKMC and this falls far under that boat

You remind me of the ltitle girl that has a crush on a boy in elementary school, doesn’t know how to tell them, so they follow them around and hit them and Crack jokes on them. Cuz no real man would continue to go to a site that they don’t like. You secretly admire these niggas and want their attention, lmao. Pathetic.

  8. Cheddar Bob says:

You are a truly awful writer

  9. BK James says:

I gotta say this was the best Drake project since So Far Gone. I loved that one when it came out and have been disappointed by Drake time and time again since, but this was truly a return to form. I just hope we don’t have to wait another five years for him to drop another rap album after this.

  10. Captain Jack says:

This and “Take Care” minus the ballads are my favorite Drake projects. Sonically this is dope. I still bump this every other day.

    1. i prefer so far gone over take care. but yeah both are really good.

  11. el jim chapo guzman says:

In a country of over 300 million people, you sell an album to 1 million people, meaning that only 1 of every 300 people likes that stuff. When you think about it, practically no one buys music in this country anymore because the rest of the music doesn’t even make 1 individual out of 300, maybe out of 500, or out of 2000. That’s like “no one” in general terms. Music has become some obscure undrground thing that only teeneagers and young adults follow

    1. GetReal says:

funny thing is teens and young adults barely buy music, so your theory is extremely flawed, EVERYONE listens to music, its just way more accessible without buying it

      1. el jim chapo guzman says:

        I agree getreal.

  12. ncprecise says:

For everyone with a Quentin Miller comment… (no disrespect to him) but clearly he’s not the total package or he would be buzzing waay more than he is right now. Drake did what he had to do to give the world a dope ass album. Some of the purest of lyricists can’t put together a decent album. Its more than just writing 16 bars.

    1. GetReal says:

ghostwriters usually are never the total package, hence why they’re ghostwriters

      try again

      1. ncprecise says:

        Lol that was my point

  13. Sina Mailer Daemon Djavadkhani says:

An amazing return to form , using a meta – producer – creative – angle to make a year defining album – after his last album showed the limits to his previous formula. A perfect pre cursor to the pop of hotline bling. Drake is a master of balance.

  14. LēTeck says:

    This should be #1
