That’s Just How We Feel.

Sonically in tune with the recent releases from his TDE counterparts, Jay Rock’s sophomore release shows artistic growth but falls short of fully seizing his moment.—EW

  8. @RHUstleRadio says:

Thought it was a well rounded album with some good production and showed artistic growth….tho not the album that would put him on that next level it creates a interesting set up for his next project. Could of had better PROMO AFTER the album dropped….as well as more videos. You can always tell how much the label believes in the record by how much content is released to support it.

  9. album was nice fuck yall smoking?lol

  12. BK James says:

It was a decent enough album, I wasn’t disappointed by it but then again I didn’t have high expectations. You can tell that Jay is not a top level rapper tho when listening to the song “Vice City”… the rest of Black Hippy had to totally dumb down their lyrics to make Jay seem on their level.

  13. thedeamkid19 says:

it shouldnt be in here, maybe the hype was too big

  14. Reggie says:

Idk how much I can trust y’all cause y’all had AB Soul’s album on this list last year and that shit was fire!!

“Hope them boys dont come knockin at my mama’s door.. AK-47 out that window think I’m paranoid… america another case I cant afford help me lord”

  19. ΓΛΝΓV™ says:

I THINK EW/ RAPRADAR EXPECTS TOO MUCH FROM THESE RAP ARTIST.. IN A TIME WHERE EVERYTHING HAS BEEN SAID ALREADY AND EVERYONE SOUNDING THE SAME… JAY ROCK DROPPED AN DOPE COHESIVE PIECE OF WORK! 90059 WAS REFRESHING, TO SAY THE LEAST!

  20. DoughboyToad says:

It was a good album but the moment he couldn’t capture like School Boy Q did and K.dot that was the problem seems to me he should of waited to get a buzz first

  21. John Bzo says:

Hold up wait a minute, lemme put some seasoning in this gumbo!!!!!!!
Jay Rock killed this ish…only minus was that he should have come out earlier when money trees was up there….

  22. Gwl227 says:

90059 was dope I liked it better then rodeo but I’m a fan of lyrics

  23. ITS ME says:

This was a great album. Getcha ears checked.

  24. ilexx says:

I really fucked with this album. I hated maybe one song, the title track but other than that I was rocking it regularly.

  25. Santigo says:

Agreed! I was really hopeful leading up to the album as I’ve always felt Jay Rock is the most slept on & underappreciated guy in TDE. But the reality is, the album is poorly produced, TDE’s in house production team is not very good, they overproduce almost everything. And the weird voices & excessive amounts of weird flows got Rock out of pocket, and made the album sound weird.
