Based off your comment, it’s evident you don’t get out much.

Young MA has the hottest song in the game right now. Fact. A Boogie opened up for Drake (the biggest rapper in the game) 3 nights in a row on the biggest stage (MSG)

Quit reaching and let us be great.

          1. YABOI says:

You sound like a fan in free agency ” hes coming here because this is new York!!!” Just because they poppin out in NY don’t mean shit!!! No play in my city n state foh man.

I mean I think these songs are hot…..but how come

            nobody calls out
these rappers for originality……The A boogie joint “My Shit’ is
clearly a Dej Loaf Knock off and Young MA just remixed Bobby Shmurda
with the same flow he stole from Chicago…..I find it quite sickening
that people we look up to, Like DJ Drama and DJ Envy, promotes this
Bullshit….I understand that you are protecting your bosses
investment….but when will someone stand up for the culture and stop
giving all these punk azz passes for these whack azz rappers!!!!!!

          6. Brian B.Dot™ Miller says:

We actually talked about the Dej Loaf comparisons

          7. Chad Lee Yay says:

I guess if a rapper is using someone else’s flow…..Id think they should at least shout that rapper out in the song! I think the song is cool, but why hype around stuff that be clearly bittin + recycled lyrics = 90% of promoted music……I see now why WALE be some damn mad……

        3. THE REAL mac DIESEL says:

FACTS!!!! QUIT HURTIN’ B.DOT’S FEELINGS!!!! LMAO!!!!

          DON’T HATE ON MY OPINION!!!!

        1. Brian B.Dot™ Miller says:

i agree. oddly enough, i ain’t like fab verse. it’s great lyrically but i felt the roc-a-fella nods was over done. especially over the amil sample. but that’s just me.

          1. estwst says:

Fab killed that track and then the Amil bar put it over the top for me

          2. PREMERE says:

Nah ofcourse fab snapped his track he had to. I get what your saying about roc a fella nods overdone, but the lines were hot. Overall Don Q stood out, fab established, dave east on the come up. Don Q tho looking foward to more musicm

You guys need to throw the town in on this podcast….. Drink Champs is running away with this rap podcast game. You and elliot aren’t meant to host a podcast. Stick with the blog!

The Drink Champs show is far more authentic and has much better guests.

Best of luck with the blog and congrats on your success!

  12. T.j. Gallagher says:

Yo, your podcast is on point, I just spent the last week catching up on all of them after finding it on Spotify. As a student of Hip Hop and being in my mid 30’s there is a lot of information your guests conveyed that was very intriguing. There is so much I want to say about all of them but I will keep it brief. The Just Blaze interview is my favorite. One thing I noticed from him and I don’t know if its a Jersey thing but the way he describes his art and his reactions remind me of Kevin Smith when he describes how he makes movies. Elliot I know you were thinking what I’m about to say next because you are from the early era of hip hop…. B. Dot, I am five years older than you so I have a little more first hand knowledge of the culture and all I gotta say is… Listen to Clark Kent and learn from that interview, His point of view on every thing he said is what is lost on today’s fans. I won’t elaborate because he said it perfectly and I suggest you go back and listen. I’m not saying this to downtalk or even question your credibility I can just tell from that interview that you didn’t vibe with some of the views Clark had and it’s not your fault you just werent old enough during those era to truly have experienced them and understand why the older gods arent feeling the music like they should be. When you actually see great music being made and understand how it was crafted as it happened is different from just listening to it. Its one thing to be a fan of the music and grab some stuff from before your time and like it. But to live through the progession and keep your ear to the street for 30 something years is something else entirely. Keep up the greatness guys
