The world saw their first glimpse of the 6th installment of Fast & Furious during the Super Bowl. Just in case anyone forgot Eminem and Royce Da’ 5’9″ could rap, “Fast Lane” was a great reminder. Released under their Bad Meets Evil banner, “Fast Lane” is a Stan’s wet dream. Over an aggressive soundbed, Em and Nickle bob and weave through pockets of syllables and complexities. By the end of the closing bell, their sparring match is best summed up by Royce’s line: “Me and Shady deaded the past, so that basically resurrected my cash flow“. Jackpot!

Bad Meets Evil called in to DJ Whoo Kid’s show today on Shade 45. Diversehiphop was listening and comes through with a rip of the audio. Part 1: On Hell: The Sequel debuting at #1 and response from Mike Epps on “I’m On Everything”. Part 2: Evil explains Nicki Minaj line and overall chemistry with Bad. Billboard will have a new number one tomorrow with Bad Meets Evil’s Hell: The Sequel claiming the top spot. According to Hits Daily Double, the EP sold approximately 166,992 copies. This will be Eminem’s eighth number one and Royce’s first. Congrats guys. UPDATE: Final numbers in 171,135.
Eminem and Royce teamed up with Converse for a special limited edition of Bad Meets Evil Chuck Taylors. The sneakers will be available at Boston and New York locations. A portion of the proceeds will also go to charity.
