Earlier then usual, BET has decided to let go one of the cyphers which will air on October 9. Kicking things off we have Brianna Perry, Relly, Fame, The Kid Daytona, K’La and Tito Lopez.

After Ross and Jeezy’s incident at last night’s BET Hip-Hop Awards taping, sources say that MMG’s Gunplay was jumped by five members of 50 Cent’s entourage outside Atlanta’s Civic Center.

In the cell phone clip above, Gunplay is seen scrapping with one of the individuals before being pepper sprayed. What a burn. He then retreated to 2 Chainz’s trailer and was treated for minor injuries.

UPDATE: TMZ: 50 what happened at the awards, man? 50 Cent: They gave out awards. Ha!

Rozay and Jeezy got into it backstage at this evening’s taping of the BET Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta. The incident than spilled outside where a man with a firearm allegedly opened fire causing the Civic Center to go into temporary lock down. JasFly tweets:

Alright, here’s what happened: ross & Jeezy got into an actual shoving match in the parking lot. A man w/a gun was arrested. The building was temporarily shut down but is now reopened and Ross took the stage as planned. Not sure where Jeezy is. Shots have been fired. Just heard in the security walkie. We’re in lock down again. They’ve held the Lighty tribute. At least one person has been arrested but the lockdown is over.

UPDATE: TMZ says Atlanta police reports no shots fired nor arrests were made.

Shortly after 7:15 pm Saturday, a fight broke out in the parking lot at the Atlanta Civic Center (where the BET Awards were being taped) between two groups. Atlanta Police Department officers on scene responded to break up the fight and used OC spray in the process. Individuals fled the scene. There were no arrests or reports of serious injuries. Reports of shots fired appear to be untrue.” Our sources maintain shots were fired.

G.O.O.D. Music’s Cruel Summer has only been out for a few weeks. But on the red carpet of last night’s BET Hip-Hop Awards, Q-Tip insinuates to MTV that a possible follow-up may arrive next.

“I know, I know, I’m sorry about that but I have to let the cat out of the bag. Kanye’s probably gonna get…If there’s a Cruel Summer then there’s got to be a Cruel Winter right? That’s all I’m saying.”

Out of respect for the recent lost of a mutual friend, peace has been made. Curtis and Joey shared the same stage during rehearsals for Chris Lighty’s tribute at the BET Hip-Hop Awards. Nice!

Earlier today, 106 & Park announced this year’s nominees for the BET Awards, which will air live from the Shrine Auditorium in LA on July 1.

Big Sean, who racked in three nominations, spoke while A$AP weighed in on his Best New Artist Award nom and Melanie Fiona spoke on her Best Female R&B Artist Award nom.
