Following the premiere of Kanye’s new film, Cruel Summer his G.O.O.D. Music familia headed over to Club Gotha in Cannes where some performances went down from Cudi, Big Sean & Teyana Taylor.
Following the BET Awards Press Conference yesterday, MTV caught up with Big Sean. He spoke on the upcoming G.O.O.D Music Compilation and accompanying film, Cruel Summer. No spoilers here, but he did say that he had role in the flick.
Earlier today, 106 & Park announced this year’s nominees for the BET Awards, which will air live from the Shrine Auditorium in LA on July 1.
Big Sean, who racked in three nominations, spoke while A$AP weighed in on his Best New Artist Award nom and Melanie Fiona spoke on her Best Female R&B Artist Award nom.

Good attendance calls for G.O.O.D. deeds. Due to Detroit’s Lincoln High School 8.56% attendance increase, Big Sean will be their H.N.I.C. on Monday as part of the “Get Schooled” campaign. Sean says:
“Showing up to school, all day, every day, is one of the most important things students can do to reach their educational goals and to go on to success later in life. I am so proud of my hometown of Detroit for tackling attendance issues head on and I am so excited to celebrate the achievements of the students who worked so hard throughout the attendance challenge.”
Just last year, his frequent collaborator Nicki Minaj also served as a principal for the day at Collins Academy High School in Chicago.
