Although Curren$y and Wiz Khalifa’s Live In Concert mixtape is on hold, they’re continuing to work. And yesterday, the tandem shot the treatment for “Jet Life” off Spitta’s The Stoned Immaculate. Here’s how it unfolded from Karen Civil‘s lens.
The more successful, the more stressful. Curren$y and Wiz Khalifa’s Live In Concert mixtape was supposed to drop today. But due to bitchassness hip-hop politics, the project is on hold indefinitely. Spitta later turned to his Twitter account and explained the reason behind the setback.
We wldnt feel comfortable droppin
#LiveInConcert until we get the samples cleared.with how these suits keep poppin up.. Mixtapes ain’t safe. Lots of law suits being handed out to folks for makin free mixtape jams..Wiz,Mac,myself even..We gotta play this one smart..We got it tho. So don’t trip it’ll be out soons the legal beagles handle it…. Crazy how the game gets huh? I never imagined a time like this…. came up off mixtapes in 08 not financially but they put me on so2speak..Sucks that this may be a lane made unavailable to the next mcs.. But when one door closes, another one opens….We will do the due diligence and have it cleared in its entirety …When u hear it you’ll see what we built…. And it will last forever
Come around their way. From New Orleans to New York and even L.A., Talib, Spitta and K.Dot take us around their neck of the woods in their brand new clip. What a free trip.
DJ Tony Touch embraced Spitta’s presence on Shade 45 last Tuesday and returned the favor by taking it to the mic. Under the influence more than likely.
Out of his countless projects, Spitta tells SoulCultureTV in the latest “My Favorite Verse” series, that his bars from “Breakfast” are his most memorable.
“I like that because Mos Def did the beat for me in like two minutes. think I put that record out that night at like 2 in the morning, it was just free, it wasn’t supposed to be for my album or nothing.
“But it ended up being like one of the songs that people always asked for – then I had to put it on the album, then we got the live band to play it over. That’s the one where I said ‘New Orleans this morning, New York this evening’ because that was what was going on in my life”

Peep this your highness. Stalley cops a seat and stays on his king ish in his new visual with Curren$y. Stalley’s Savage Journey To The American Dream is up for grabs here.

That was quick. After previewing this last night in Seattle, we now get the record in its full form featuring K.Dot and Spitta. This is what you call a smooth record. Produced by S1.
In his latest “24 Hours With Curren$y”, we follow him from N.O. to NYC where he recently appeared on an episode of Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. Our guess is, he was probably high.
