Denzil Porter takes off into the galaxy with his new video in support of his mixtape, Porters Pot. Here’s some background on the audio.
“Solar Flight”, produced by Christopher “Claws” Stevens samples the 1977 funk/jazz song of the same title by Mandre. Because hip hop was created off of the sounds of funk and jazz, recording this track was very special for Denzil. He included neighborhood friends Maurice Parks on the funky guitar solo and Sean Taylor on the trumpet to bring together the raw, soulful harmony of the track. get more “Porter’s Pot” at… www.denzilporter.com

Two nights ago, 360 catered to a packed house at the Studio At Webster Hall. The event was hosted by Power 105.1′s Angela Yee and featured Bryant Dope and Denzil Porter.
