While out West, Mystikal hooked up with DJ Quik for Blind Productions’ D.I.A.L. (Day In A Life) series. Based off their banter, this was filmed during the NBA season. Hopefully, we see the results sooner than later.

DJ Quik is in the muthafuckin’ house. Unfortunately, only a few took notice with his latest CD, The Book Of David. Quik stayed true to the Left Coast and repped for the hometown on “So Compton”. He kept the party popping with (“Nobody” and “Boogie Till You Conk”) and then aired out personal grievances (“Ghetto Rendezvous”, “Killer Dope”). Needless to say, The Book Of David should’ve been a bestseller.

Heavy D’s Hip-Hop Soul influences stretched as far as the Left Coast. And adding to the Overweight Lover’s tributes is DJ Quik. We miss you, Hev!

Need more bounce

Ladies, you don’t have to take your clothes off to have a good time, but Kurupt and Quik beg to differ on their new funky collabo. Off Kurupt’s compilation LP, Penagon Rydaz on October 4. Titles under the cut.
