Truth be told, 2 Chainz made no mistake to push his duet with Drake as his debut’s lead single. Over Mike Will Made It’s smooth production, 2 Chainz keeps his boisterous tone, but slow walks through his unorthodox flow (“I take ya girl and kidnap her/Feed her to my mattress/A skeleton in my closet, it’s probably one of these dead ass rappers”). Champagne Papi’s guest verse may be the center of attention, but it’s his infectious hook that’s truly irresistible. No bullshittin’, this may very well be B.O.A.T.S.’ most favorable track. Sorry, Kanye.

Whether you’re religious or not, Meek Mill took folks to church with his Dreamchasers 2 mixtape cut turned Dreams & Nightmares single. Over Key Wane and Jahlil Beats’ organs, Meek not only praised the man above, but the wealth and the bottles and models he blessed him with. Even Drake catches the holy ghost with his impressive preach (“Talking bout those other rappers getting old is even getting old/Worrying ’bout your followers, you need to get your dollars up”). Rebuke that boycott.

Drake had a pocketful of remarkable verses in 2012. But the one he delivered on Rick Ross’ Rich Forever reigns supreme. With a chip on his shoulder the size of the Grand Canyon, Drake put the emo rap to the back burner and delivered a “sweet” response to Common’s diss. Over The Beat Bully’s mellow drums and synths, Mr. OVO came out swinging: “It bothers me when the Gods get to acting like the broads”. No one was safe. Not even Kobe Bryant’s wife Vanessa. (“Kobe about to lose a hundred fifty M’s/Kobe my nigga, I hate it had to be him/Bitch you wasn’t with me shooting in the gym!”) Good ain’t good enough, but you’d be hard-pressed not to give Drake his props.

Drake celebrated the New Year by holding court last night at the Fountainebleau in Miami. He didn’t come alone though, Busta Rhymes, French Montana, and T.I. joined in on the festivities.

The stars came out to play last night at the King of Diamonds in Miami. For those who couldn’t attend, here’s a recap of the celebratory evening. Damn, they love them strippers.

A source has confirmed with Billboard that Drake’s October’s Very Own label has inked a deal with Warner Bros. Records. The official announcement will be made tomorrow with more details. Congrats in advance.

With a whole lot of swag and a room full of honeys, A$AP and his pals roll out the first video off his debut, Long.Live.A$AP, now dropping on January 15.

JB brought his Believe tour home to T-Dot last night. During the evening, Mr. OVO surprises the Roger Centre crowd with their first performance of “Right Here” before Drake capped it off with “The Motto”.

In a house full of balloons, The Weeknd finally releases the long-awaited visual to his duet with Drake. Get into the zone and cop Trilogy next Tuesday.

Future’s new vlog takes us back to Stadium where he was accompanied by Drake. We later follow the pair inside the lab where they laid out a few tracks. Looks like everyone is eating now.
