As calm as he can be, Asher Roth kicks a few lyrics over Inspectah Deck’s “R.E.C. Room”. In other Asher news, he recently scrapped the original title of his forthcoming album. Too much orange.

Juan Epstein kicked off their new season with guests: actor Andy Samberg, Ron Artest and Ice Cube. The interview is nearly two hours long, but Ron’s portion begins at the 35:00 mark. Listen to it here.

Rumors circulated today that Remy Ma had passed away. Currently serving eight years at Bedford Hills Correctional Facility, she called Flex this evening to address the rumors, day-to-day life and return home.

This @funkmasterflex vs. Power 105.1 thing has 2 stop. Imagine if Flex used this much energy 2 break a new artist. He has the power to do so

So here’s the skinny. Last Friday, yours truly called out Hot 97′s Funkmaster Flex for putting too much energy into his beef with Power 105.1—instead of breaking records. Dialogue followed and Flex told me to make a list of 10 songs that I felt were overlooked for NYC radio play.

It wasn’t an easy task. And after listening to a string of recent releases, here’s a list of recordings that I felt had the most potential for the airwaves. Here they are: in no particular order.
