A year ago, Jadakiss told MTV that he wanted big production for his fourth album,Top 5 Dead Or Alive. Getting up to speed, he tells the Double R who he’s working with to refine his sound.

Surrounding the release of Jadakiss’ third album The Last Kiss, he said he was going to release a West Coast-inspired mixtape called, Kiss My Converse. Two years later, the project has yet to see the light of day. In this clip, he gives an update on the tape and says he will do a Southern version with Greg Street.

Jadakiss’ new mixtape, I Love You is due out in three weeks. In the first clip, he explains the differences between this tape and his previous efforts. After the jump, he explains the meaning behind the title. Yep, it’s deeper than rap.
