Kendrick dialed up Flex to speak on how the remix with Jay-Z came about. He reveals Hov sent his verse in first before he recorded his and that they will only be on a few shows together for Yahoo’s upcoming tour. K-Dot also touched on taking MTV’s Hottest MC list and Kanye’s controversial opinion.
The official audio hasn’t been released yet. But currently in Austin for SXSW, K-Dot briefly touches on having his new tour partner on his upcoming ”Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe” remix with MTV.
“Ah, man, I can’t really speak too much on it, I just know it’s in the air right now. I can’t — it’s under wraps. It’s all love. That’s the big homie. It’s one of them things, you know, you live up to and one of them moments to really challenge yourself and say ‘OK, that’s how I come in. During SXSW, Yahoo announced their first international music festival with Hova and King Kendrick as headliners. Dubbed as Yahoo! On The Road, the 21-stop trek begins begins May 3 in New York.
The tour continues in the states with J.Cole, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Justin Timberlake, Frank Ocean and Trey Songz will be added to the string of UK shows July 9-14. All aboard.
