Screw Powerball. Moonie and Count splurge on a $10 million tax return along with YMCMB. Ironically, the rapper with the dollar sign in this name doesn’t make an appearance. Break off some change and download the song here.
l.e.p. bogus boys
The Bogus Boys actually shot an official video for this song. But until that drops, this will do just fine. Oh yeah, NSFW.
Coinciding with BAU apparel, producers Frank The Butcher & Paul Mighty are set to release their All Is Fair compilation. For the latest leak, they hire the Lower End Professionals.
Count and Moonie keep their money spaced out on their brand new single featuring Tunechi and M-A dollar sign E. Where’d they find that guy?! Produced by Southside and TM88.
After joining forces with Gee Roberson’s Interscope imprint, Count and Moonie are ready to release Don’t Feed Da Killaz 4 and they tic-tac the game with their first release. Produced by D. Rich.
Earlier today, Billboard broke the news that Interscope Records, will house Gee Roberson’s new label, Blueprint. And as part of the deal, the L.E.P. Bogus Boys and Hit-Boy will expected to join. Says Gee:
“I’m very happy about the knowledge and experience I gained at Geffen that will be very useful going forward in the future.” Roberson said. “Now it’s time to go back to my roots, that entrepreneurial spirit, wrap my arms around my own label and fold it into Interscope Geffen A&M. Based on the relationship I already have with Jimmy and everyone at the label, this is a very natural move that’s filled with synergies.”
UPDATE: The Bogus Boys are Interscope bound. Says manager Eric Alvarez:
“We appreciate any and everyone that’s ever listened to our music, watched our videos and supported our cause. We’re here to open the door for Chicago music and show you what it’s really about, so we can change the misrepresentation of our city and how we’re portrayed to the world. There’s a wealth of positives and potential in our city and region. Everybody knows L.E.P. and Infared Music Group has been carrying the torch and we will continue to brand and grow right here in Chicago. Special shouts out to all the youngins doing it, and a very special shout out to the most promising artist Spenzo (@AintUSpenzo). 2013 it’s all of ours.”
It took some time (over a year actually) but The Bogus Boys return to the small screen with their new video featuring Meek Mill. Too bad there isn’t a Jackie Chan or Chris Tucker cameo. Download Now Or Neva here.
Count and Moonie connected with A$AP Rocky during Pitchfork and recorded a track titled, “Givenchy”. No audio preview is provided, but here’s a look of it in the making.
