Mannie Fresh Excluded From Big Tymers

Well, this isn’t fly. During MTV’s Rap Fix Live broadcast today, Birdman and Lil Wayne confirmed that a new Big Tymers album is in the works. When asked if Mannie Fresh was involved, Birdman shot down the notion and said the group would consist of himself, Wayne, and Drake. Nobody’s feelin that, pleighboi. Big Tymers Reuniting With Drake ?

Since disbanding a decade ago, Mannie Fresh and Birdman haven’t been on good terms. But during Lil Wayne’s Supra sneaker launch last week, Weezy told MTV that the group may be reuniting and bringing Drake into the fold. That’s real big. Mountain Dew Drops Lil Wayne

Lil Wayne’s having the worst week ever. Two days after suffering from another seizure, Mountain Dew severed ties with the rapper. The termination stems from the controversy surrounding Weezy’s Emmett Till reference on the “Karate Chop (Remix)”. In a statement, Mountain Dew’s parent company PepsiCo said: “Offensive reference to a revered civil rights icon does not reflect the values of our brand.”

Lil Wayne Suffers Seizure; Released

Not again. Lil Wayne suffered multiple seizures Tuesday night following a video shoot in L.A. TMZ reports he was taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital then released hours later. Is it too late to apologize? The day after word got out that Emmett Till‘s family called for Lil Wayne’s Mountain Dew endorsement, Weezy’s publicist issued an apology for his lyric on “Karate Chop (Remix)”. On the song, Wayne rhymed, “I beat that pussy up like, Emmett Till”.
