The day before ‘Pac’s 40th birthday, a new revelation has emerged. Though his murder remains unsolved, AHH reports that Dexter Isaac, an associate of music exec Jimmy Henchmen, has confessed to being a part of 2Pac’s ambush in the lobby of Quad Studios on November 7, 1994. In celebration of the release of Pink Friday, Nicki Minaj had a big Hot 97 sponsored show in NY last night. Along with opening act Fab, Nick got her summer jam on bringing a gang of guests out. None bigger than Mr. West. I guess the “fashion icon” has a new look. Ha!

In the words of Boyz II Men, it’s so hard to say goodbye and on Saturday, the New York location of the legendary store, Fat Beats finally closed its doors. It was a sad moment, but a celebration nonetheless. Luckily, Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg was there to capture the event. Tribute mix after the jump.
