Nas Life Is Good Celebration

photo: michael feeney Hours before the release of Nas’ album, Life Is Good, Team Epiphany spearheaded the Moët Rose Lounge event last night in NYC’s meatpacking district. Yours truly bailed at the last minute, but Hov, Beyonce, Busta Rhymes, Jermaine Dupri, Swizz Beatz, No I.D. and a host of others were in attendance. Q-Tip and DJ Wonder handled DJ duties. No I.D. Talks Kanye West’s Next Album

On the red carpet of the ASCAP Awards, Def Jam VP and producer No I.D. tells MTV that Kanye’s next album may arrive later this year. “He’s coming right after that. I’m not working on that [Cruel Summer] album, I’m working on his album. This is Kanye. You know what to expect from the family. He hasn’t missed yet, so don’t expect him to miss. It’s what you expect and everything you don’t expect.”
