Fuck Harvey Levin and anybody that loves his celebrity news website. First you prematurely pronounce the impending death of Lil Wayne (Weezy Forgives. We Don't.) and then you try to link the horrific actions of one of the Boston Marathon culprits to our culture? "DEAD BOMBING SUSPECT: HEAVY INTO HIP HOP" You don't say? It's 2013 and most kids are into rap music. We've been penetrated pop culture, you cock suckers. "What's interesting... hip-hop lyrics are notoriously violent and often degrading to women." So our music is at fault in this tragedy? Let's be clear the only bombs my culture cosigns is DJ Funkmaster Flex's sound effects. Thirty Mile Zone is prone to post anything to get traffic. Fuck dude and his coffee cup. Get you a Rap Radar cup and drink with us in the winner's circle.
You Played Yourself
Oh Miguel. Leg droppin your fans? You ain't Hulk Hogan and that wasn't part of the program. That's no way to treat the adoring ladies, brother.

To commemorate today’s anniversary, DJ Rhude is back with his mix EP and honors the late Frank White. Tracklist and download below.
I’ve always wondered what Big would sound like rocking with some of today’s producers, which was the catalyst behind this project. I’ve taken 9 of his songs and matched them up with some of the dopest producers out now. Some noteworthy beats featured on The Notorious 9 are from Harry Fraud, No I.D., Large Professor, The Alchemist, Jahlil Beats and a few others. Along for the ride are some respected heavyweights from the industry in Datwon Thomas (Exec. Ed. Vibe Mag) Shaheem Reid (The Round Up, XXL, Shade 45), Jayson Rodriguez (The Content King, host of The BQE), Rob Markman (MTV News) and DJ Goldfinger. They all took some out time to share their thoughts on Big. Hope everyone enjoys this tribute to one of the greatest rappers to grace the mic. RIP to the late, great Frank White. Peace. – DJ Rhude

Biggie may be up in the Heavens, but during Hov’s concert at Carnegie Hall a fewweeksback, he took to the balcony and paid homage to the Brooklyn Don with “Juicy”. This is all good. Better late than never, YN.

To commemorate the 15th anniversary of B.I.G.’s passing (March 9th), the late Frank White returns to the cover of XXL. Rare photo. Issue hits newsstands on February 7.
The XXL team spoke to some of those closest to Big for an in-depth look into his life and death. From his kids T’Yanna Wallace and Christopher “CJ” Wallace and their mamas, Jan Jackson and Faith Evans, to his closest friends like members of Junior M.A.F.I.A. and others, many got their chance to share stories and more to pay homage to the beloved MC. Most even disclosed rare, never-before-published photos of Biggie from their personal collections, which are featured in this month’s issue. Since Big was the most swagger-jacked rapper of all time, there’s a list of the 100 best Biggie bites, a look a what The Notorious One might have looked like at 40 plus much more in the magazine.

Just when things were going Monica’s way, she been hit with a setback. Her new single, “Anything (To Find You)” produced by Missy Elliott, samples Biggie’s “Who Shot Ya” and also features Rick Ross and Lil’ Kim. B.I.G.’s mom, Ms. Wallace controls his estate (which includes recordings) has denied clearance for Kim’s appearance on the song.
Monica turned to her Twitter account to express her disappointment over Ms. Wallace’s decision with hopes of her reconsidering.
I am just finding out what has happened to my single and myself & Missy are beyond hurt that @LilKim was removed. She’s our friend, a legend & @LilKim will get the respect she deserves at all cost. The clearance was revoked & I’m fighting to get it reinstated by the Biggie Estate.
We respect all parties involved & were gonna do WHATEVER to keep the song as is because @lilKim the bizness on the record…I am as thorough as they come and I LOVE @LilKim bottom line is Ms Wallace has the final say and she said No. If we put it out we get SUED. Your directing your anger in the wrong place & I am far 2deep in the game 2play games. These r facts. Still fighting 4 Kim to be on it…..

The folks over at Rap Basement was able to come up with this rare vintage clip of B.I.G. performing his classic track “Big Poppa” with Diddy and Lil’ Cease on Jon Stewart’s MTV talk show back in the mid-90s. Long live Big Poppa!

Jermaine jump started the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Tennessee last night and once again, covered 2Pac’s “I Ain’t Mad At Cha”. Below he pays respect to B.I.G. by taking us “Higher” over the Isley Brothers’ “Between The Sheets”.
