Fuck Harvey Levin and anybody that loves his celebrity news website. First you prematurely pronounce the impending death of Lil Wayne (Weezy Forgives. We Don't.) and then you try to link the horrific actions of one of the Boston Marathon culprits to our culture? "DEAD BOMBING SUSPECT: HEAVY INTO HIP HOP" You don't say? It's 2013 and most kids are into rap music. We've been penetrated pop culture, you cock suckers. "What's interesting... hip-hop lyrics are notoriously violent and often degrading to women." So our music is at fault in this tragedy? Let's be clear the only bombs my culture cosigns is DJ Funkmaster Flex's sound effects. Thirty Mile Zone is prone to post anything to get traffic. Fuck dude and his coffee cup. Get you a Rap Radar cup and drink with us in the winner's circle.
You Played Yourself

What a Sunday afternoon. Hov and Beyonce capped off the summer with a surprise appearance at La Marina restaurant/lounge in Manhattan’s Washington Heights section. With DJ Camillo on the 1s and 2s, guests included Memphis Bleek, Swizz Beatz, Steve Stoute, Ebro, and yours truly. (That’s me on the text dawg).
Over a couple Cubans and endless D’USSE, Hov and I chopped it up (and debated) about everything under the sun. At one point, he chided me for saying Hard Knock Life Vol. 2 was his best album. According to him, the “Holy Trinity” is Reasonable Doubt, The Blueprint, & The Black Album. Fun times. Check out a few pics after the jump.

The FEDS might want to talk to Swizz Beatz, but Al Lindstrom‘s got him first. In the first part of their conversation, Swizz explains partnering with Megaupload, his on-going scandal, and much publicized Reebok deal.

Grand revealing, grand closing. A day after Swizz Beatz was exposed as the head of the file sharing website Megaupload, the site has reportedly been shut down with employees indicted. No word if Swizz was charged. More details to come.
Hours before the release of Nas’ album, Life Is Good, Team Epiphany spearheaded the Moët Rose Lounge event last night in NYC’s meatpacking district. Yours truly bailed at the last minute, but Hov, Beyonce, Busta Rhymes, Jermaine Dupri, Swizz Beatz, No I.D. and a host of others were in attendance. Q-Tip and DJ Wonder handled DJ duties. Here are a few pics from the night’s festivities.
