Swizzy appeared on Hot 97′s afternoon drive and kicked it with Angie Martinez. The interview was alright, but would’ve been a lot better if Ang asked about the whole Megaupload scandal. Ah well, here’s what went down.

Word broke out early this year about Swizz and A$AP working on some new material. Turns out it was for Swizzy’s new mixtape, Limitless. The verses don’t really knock, but AraabMuzik’s production is really stepping up.

Mr. West introduced his Fall 2012 women’s wear line yesterday at the Halle Freyssinet in Paris. Guests included Common, Waka, Diddy, Cassie, Swizzy, and Alicia Keys. Above is the grand finale runway with the man himself.

Where my dogs at? Well, last night they were with DMX for his triumphant return to NYC. Not only did he bring out Swizz Beatz, but X ran through his classics and his new single. An nyoung. During his visit to Korea, Swizz announced at a press conference his new partnership with O & Media and initiative to bring the country’s popular K-Pop music here to the states. Let’s get it poppin’.

Swizzy’s still prepping his upcoming mixtape and he kept the working process going last night with Nasir. After the jump, he also recently got work done with the Bawse as well. Hope more recording was done than smoking.

Wait, stop the party presses. According to the NY Post, Swizz Beatz is the monster behind Megaupload. Who knew?! Last month, Universal Records issued cease and desists to have promos featuring their artists removed. Mega returned fire with a lawsuit. Period.

A Mega rep told us: “We have never received any word that any artist has [individually] filed a take-down . . . [we have] legally binding agreements with the performers that appear in the video . . . They promised that they had the rights to enter into that agreement and it’s not interfering with any third-party rights.”

Last night, Busta, Mr. Kweli & Swizzy were all in the studio recording new music. Not sure for exactly who, but here are some pics courtesy of Porter House LA.
