CBS aired the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show this evening. As the angels showcased this year’s lingerie, The Throne gets the runway cray with “Niggas In Paris”. Ye goes “Stronger” below.
After performing the track 6 times in Boston, The Throne beat their record and performed the track 7 times last night in Detroit. Up top, is some footage of them performing it for the audience. That shit cray!
By now you know Jay and Ye perform their latest single numerous times on the road. After reciting it five times in Miami last week, they took it up a notch to six in Beantown on Monday night.

The Throne held their second concert last night at Madison Square Garden. During the tail end of their performance of “Made In America”, Hov gave two rest in peace shout-outs to Heavy D. (Sorry, we only caught the second). We still got nuttin’ but love for ya.

The Throne’s “Niggas In Paris” sure gets the people going. As we all know, the track features a sample from actor Will Ferrell’s 2007 film Blades Of Glory. In an interview with MTV, Will was flattered by his appearance on the track.
Kanye reached out to me and I said, ‘Of course’ I was completely flattered when they asked if they could sample me into the song … and when I heard it for the first time, I just started to laugh because it felt so surreal. But I really did like the song.
We were trying to film a piece that they would use on the video boards of their concert, but haven’t gotten it together — and the whole process has opened his eyes to an entirely new career opportunity: Being the go-to sample guy on the hip hop circuit. I think [something from] ‘Step Brothers’ would be good [to use in a song]. Or the Woody Allen movie I did, ‘Melinda and Melinda.’
Blues singer Syl Johnson filed a lawsuit last week for The Throne using his song ”Different Strokes” on their Pete Rock-produced ”The Joy“. During a visit at Sway In The Morning last week, his daughter and R&B singer Syleena Johnson spoke on the rumors surrounding it.
