Killer Mike spoke from the pulpit yesterday at a rally in Atlanta on behalf of Troy Davis. Davis was executed last night for the murder of a Georgia police officer in 1989.

Troy Davis was officially pronounced dead at 11:08 pm EST in the State of Georgia. Earlier this evening, Davis’ execution was delayed due to a request for a stay, but it was denied by the Supreme Court hours later. Troy Davis was convicted of murdering an off-duty police officer in 1989, but witnesses have recanted their testimonies over the years.
