Wiz Khalifa sat with Karen Civil to weigh in on the backlash he received from his O.N.F.I.C. cover, the delay of his Curren$y-collabo mixtape, Live In Concert, and his upcoming remix for “Work Hard, Play Hard”.
Although Curren$y and Wiz Khalifa’s Live In Concert mixtape is on hold, they’re continuing to work. And yesterday, the tandem shot the treatment for “Jet Life” off Spitta’s The Stoned Immaculate. Here’s how it unfolded from Karen Civil‘s lens.
In Wiz Khalifa’s new vlog series, we follow him during his recent travels in Europe. At the 12:20 mark, the clip plays his new rap over Elle Varner’s “Refill”.

First class seats will not be available on August 28. While discussing the album’s production and upcoming projects with Fuse, Wiz reveals O.N.I.F.C . is now arriving on September 18.
Currently on the Under The Influence Of Music tour, Wiz still manages to put in work by releasing a new freebie featuring Project Pat. Odd pairing, but not bad nonetheless.
Before the arrival of his sophomore set on August 28, Wiz gives MTV a first class seat with sneak peak of the album. Below he explains what we can expect lyrically.
“I get pretty personal on there, it’s like a reflection of me and where I’m at right now. I feel like I did that the best way without getting too preachy or going too deep to the point where I lost anybody. I kept it all in the same playing field so it makes sense. I said, ‘I’m put here to take care of the family, but how was I supposed to know/ If I don’t take care of myself huh, then how am I supposed to grow.’ It’s simple, but it means a lot, and anybody who works their ass off will understand and be like, ‘Man, the dude is talkin’ some sh–.”
Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller kicked off their Under The Influence tour yesterday in Atlanta with TDE and Chevy Woods on the bill. One down, eight more to go.
