It’s been a minute—well, five years actually, since we’ve heard from Marshall. But on May 19, that’s scheduled to change with the release of his fifth solo album, Relapse. Truthfully, Em has big zapatos to fill. And to ensure customer satisfaction is guaranteed, the homie broken cool added his 2 cents to see that it’s met.
NO AKON…IN FACT FEW GUESTS IF ANY
Each night before I go to sleep I say a prayer and it goes like this:
God, I know Eminem jumped on Akon’s “Smack That” and tore it
up…but I PRAY that he was paid for this guest spot and it wasn’t one
of those “you appear on my song, I’ll appear on yours” deals. Please
keep “Relapse” free of any Africans who aspire to do Country music. Thank you.
Seriously though, I REALLY hope the Pop&B world didn’t get into
Shady’s ear and convince him to let them on what should be 2009’s best
album (and yes I said SHOULD). Going further, I hope the album is
relatively free of guests. I’m fine with D-12 and Bobby Creekwater
(although I would have preferred Stat Quo)…and of course Dr. Dre,
Snoop Dogg and 50 are always welcome, but please keep the hordes of
guests away…and Ca$his…please keep Ca$his away too…but there is
one exception on the guests issue…keep reading…
I agree with most of your wishes and it definitely should be the best cd to come out in 09… I just hope it does not have any songs like “Fack” on it. I’m cool with the funny first single/music video though it’s a good way to get the show going…. if there is any appearences i hope they are only dre,50,d-12,bobby or cashis or royce anyone else would make the album more of a compilation…
My main wish is that Eminem will be full of energy and emotion on each song. Encore lacked energy and emotion, we can use Rain Man as an example or Big Weenie. I would also like to see a tribute to Proof. Maybe even an unheard verse from Proof himself on the song. I definetly don’t want to see Akon or anyone else outside the Shady/Aftermath camp. I would love to see Em and Royce do a part two to Bad Meets Evil and call it Welcome to Hell or Hell. Thats pretty much it, might as well throw in I want a dope album cover.
I need Jay-z, Nas and Royce in there….T.i is almost certain…Thats about it, the rest he can do whatever the fuck he wants as long as it isnt just lose it shit on more than one song which appears to be the single mocking rain man. And my other wishes: The crack a bottle video before the end of the month, the we made you video on april 7th and the album on may 19th, no push backs em
I want Eminem to do something a little different than we’re all expecting…in a good way. ENCORE was all in all a mediocre album. I’d like to see a conceptual leap. A lot of tracks Em has been appearing on lately and/or producing are kinda…lazy. I want the ‘wow’ factor to return.
I think I read somewhere that only Dr Dre , 50 are appearing as guests! This makes sense because the album is recorded in a close circle to prevent leaking of songs, this was done after crack a bottle leaked.

lil wayne can only DREAM to be on this album!!! this album gonna possibly surpass the MMLP.
RELAPSE is gonna blow these fake ass wanna be rapperz like wayne away, SLIM SHADY IS BACK!!! RELAPSE will make FUCKIN HISTORY, eminem doesnt even need other rapperz to make it a great album, but if he prefers it that way, that kool, it’ll still be the best album ever. snoop dogg and eminem need to get back together like in “bitch please 2”.
