If you don’t know who Bill Withers is then go do your research. OK I’ll help you a lil’ bit. Dude is one of my favorite musicians of all-time so needless to say I’m amped about this upcoming documentary on him. Apparently, it debuted out in Austin during SXSW but I missed it. Where the fuck I was at? I lost!

Bill was the soul of music with his smooth macho vocals, funky basslines and timeless melodies, just his name alone get my head to nodding. I could make a classic hiphop album using nothing but his samples and over my career I probably have. Mad props and much respect due to Mr.Bill, he will always be the truth were soul music lives breathes and resides.
YN, what’s up with that doc? Definitely my favorite artist, and can’t wait to see this too.
