During tonight’s MTV Movie Awards, Sacha Baren Cohen a.k.a. Bruno dropped from the raftors and ass landed on Eminem. After the jump is Marshall’s performance prior to the incident.

I really think this wasn’t staged. They may have put the camera on him, because THEY knew what was gonna happen, or because feathers were falling on him. Fuck, I dunno but that was messed up, I was shocked.

As you will see the whole thing that makes the joke work is that people will have homophobic responses. it was totally staged because first of all if something is falling on a person like that, you’d at least try to move out of the way or duck, or even just use your hands to protect your head, but nope the guy lands perfectly on em’s face…cohen was let down with a rope, em had more than enough time to react, and the cameras showed em lookin up as feathers came down, so he knew that the dude was right over him, and on his way out he said stinky mother****, if he was really surprised i doubt that he’d comment

The indicent is a win-win situation for both of them … Eminem gets the extra attention needed since the We Made You video controversy is fading and S.B.C. is promoting his film Bruno in character which will be out soon.
I agree that it was completely staged- Eminem doesn’t normally hang around in the audience after a performance and he did have plenty of time to move. He was expecting a practical joke and he was certainly ready to participate in it. But I think the way it was rehearsed (his rehearsal was closed and supposedly “top secret”) was that Bruno was supposed to land right in front of him or wind up sitting on his lap- then some jokes were supposed to be exchanged back and forth. Eminem wouldn’t agree to have Bruno land ass and balls in his face. You don’t have to like his music or approve of his lyrics but it’s reaching to call him a fag.
