Fat Joe Responds To Big Pun’s Widow
These two are it again. After the video of Liza Rios circulated around the Internets yesterday, Crack felt the need to respond to all the shit that’s being tossed his way.
“Immediately after Puns death I gave Liza Rios the whole advance of the Endangered Species album, NO ONE but Liza made a dollar off that album. I also gave her the total advance from the publishing company that was due to Big Pun.
I’ve never made a dollar off Big Pun since his passing. This was hundreds of thousands of dollars of frivolous spending, after the second payoff I washed my hands. Since then we have been through 6 lawyers, harassment on various radio stations and online mediums every time she needs more money. I also have legal documents stating that NO ONE is making money off of Big Pun.
I sympathize with Liza, but I have done already done enough for her. In these economic times we as parents need to be resilient and do what it takes to provide for our own families.”

She was always money hungry. She always used her kids for the financial gain. She used up all the money on stupid shit and burned all her bridges while doing it. Many of you don’t know this but Pun would have been nothing without Fat Joe. Joe orchestrated Puns rise. Joe was the one with industry experience. Pun was just another rapper dreaming about making it big and not having the resources or contacts to do so. Pun would have never gotten his deal with Loud if it weren’t for Joe. Loud would have dropped the ball on a lot of stuff if Joe wasn’t in the office getting in everyone’s ass to make it happen. So, for those of you who think Pun made Joe, you’re wrong.
If money is owed to Eliza she needs to contact Sony Entertainment. They are the ones that cut the checks.

Not sure why she or his family is not getting royalties I really do not think Joe is holding the publishing any longer but does receive $$ from Puns Music still. I do know Sony is the definite check writers on this bc thats where mine come from and I receive them every 6 months. Pun had a publishing deal through Joe with Jellybean Benitez and thats who gets a portion of mechanical roysalties. What about the ASCAP? I checked the database and see Pun does not receive any share on his songs so she has to get that corrected immediately or see maybe Pun signed over all his rights to Joe. If she fucked off that $$ then it is what it is but she definitely should be receiving income from all the Pun music being sold out there so she has to get her business straight. Joe does get $$ off the sales of Pun but if Pun signed over his pubslishing to Joe then Joe is not to blame it is Pun. He didnt know the business and trusted Joe. Yeah Joe might not be the perfect person but say what you want about him Pun would not have gotten on if it wasnt for Joe.
