Now I’m a Floyd fan to the death and Shane was a bitch tryna son him like that and you can even see Bernard eggin that shit on but the point is, theres no reason why FM cant fight SM. Boxing is as political as it comes and Bob Arum is a difficult SOB to deal with. If the moneys right no reason why FM n SM cant get it on. Personally I would prefer a fight vs pac-man/cotto winner

@KingKong Co-sign. The money would be right. Mosley vs Mayweather would have been a way bigger fight than Floyd & Marquez. More PPV buys & more money for Mayweather but he chose to fight for less money against an easy opponent.

Fuck Shane. He ducked Floyd for a good 5 years and his defense was “Floyd aint ready yet”. Now that Floyd is the don dada of this boxing shit and Shane NEEDS this fight, Floyd is telling him to eat a dick. There’s mad history behind this. Shane is a bitch and he got caught Juicing in the Balco investigation. He’s a fucking disgrace.

If Floyd wants to secure is place along side the Robinson’s, Leonard’s & Haglers, he has to fight the very best the sport has to offer. Everybody needs to forget about Manny, he’s a blown up lightweight who will not get past Cotto. Floyd has never fought and beat the best. His career record is Padded. Mosley,Cotto, Williams, Berto & Margacheato. Those are the fighters he should be fighting instead of a 36 yr old lightweight who has never weighed more than 134lbs in his life. I’m being honest homie. Do I like Mayweather or better yet his public persona? No. But I cant deny his god-given talent is amazing. I just want him for once, in 40 fights, to fight the best the sport has to offer.

1. Zab – Probably the most talented fighter Floyd has ever faced. He get’s props for this 1.
2. Gatti not Gotti – Club fighter just like Floyd said. RIP but he was a c-lister. Oscar demolished him years prior. He was very entertaining against other club fighters. That fact that you even put Gatti on your list shows your limited knowledge on the sweet science.
3.Marquez – Are you serious? Read my other posts.
4.Hatton not Haddon – Another c-class fighter that built an amazing record by fighting no-names in Europe. He beat an old ass Kosta Zszyu and Castillo. His 1st fight against a fresh and talented fighter was against Luis Collazo and Luis beat his ass and was robbed just so they could set up the Mayweather Fight. What Pacman did to him doesn’t show Manny’s greatness like most think, it just shows how much of a scrub Hatton really is.
5.De La Hoya – Old and well past his prime, he still made Mayweather work more than he would have liked to. Only a split decison? He should have done what Pacman did.
6.Manfedy – Are you serious? How is he even credible? What makes him notable? What did he do in boxing to be a notable name on anyone’s resume?
7.Castillo – Definitely gets props for both fights even though he should have lost the 1st. Every boxing journalist and non-biased fan knows Castillo deserved the nod. Either way, Floyd fought a beast in his prime.
8.Corley – Chop Chop was a good prospect at the time so I’ll give him credit for this one. He gave Cotto a helluva fight.
9.Baldomir – Really? A bum who beat Zab because Zab’s either there or he isn’t. We’re talking about a guy who had a record of 43-13. A guy had never fought a decent fighter in his life until he found Zab’s dumb ass.
10.Corralles – His greatest victory in my eyes. 2 undefeated lightweights in their prime square off. Floyd took him to school.
12. Chavez – Tough Fighter. He gets credit.
13. Mitchell – Sharmba fucking Mitchell??!! Did you really put this sorry ass excuse of a fighter on a list of notable Floyd Mayweather opponents. What is wrong with you? Your supposed to make it look like he fought the best not the worst.
Like I said, Floyd is amazing. HIs skill is unmatched. I would just like to see it used against the best fighters in the world. Not cherry picked opponents like Marquez, Hatton, De La Hoya, Baldomir,Gatti, Mitchell, Bruseles
