Vanity Fair Interviews Warren G

warreng

Warren G’s on a roll. Not only is he featured on next month’s XXL cover, but he recently spoke with fashion staple, Vanity Fair. It’s always great when traditional outlets feature hip-hop stars. But what’s disheartening is when they’re met with disrespect. Here’s an example:

…In this financial climate, does it make more sense to invest in Citigroup or the Crips?
Oh, hell no! Invest in the Crips? That’s crazy, man!

So you think the Bloods are a better investment?
Neither one of them! You don’t wanna get involved in any of that!

What kind of asinine question is that to ask a father of four? Regulators, mount up!

Heads Up: Gooch

  3. black nutz says:

you missed the funniest quote from the whole interview

WG “That record ain’t about havin’ cash. It’s about rollin’ with the music. It’s like (rapping) “You might see me at the M-G-M Grand, make that move, shake your man, cause you lookin like oooh.” You know what I’m saying?”

VF “I have no clue what you’re saying.”

That was some ignorant ass interviewer, but I gotta give him props for finally responding to a rapper’s ‘know what im sayin” with a defiant rejection of no i dont know what youre sayin

    lmao
