I would STRONGLY ADVISE them to chill on this sample. The Verve used an unauthorized sample of a Rolling Stones song to make this song and they had to pay out of the behind for it. Rolling Stones don’t play…

^^this aint on the album anyways so clearin samples dont matter. Wale’s lyrics r so dope on this trak. good look

  3. Don't Hate says:

Jay-Zs Mashup with this song was better

theres something about wale. somethin magnetic, i like him. honestly, the instrumental is the most powerful form of this song, but rappers and other artists continue to try and match the musics brilliance (usually falling short). the chorus feels forced and bland, but as usual, wale is good. hes goin about himself and his introduction to the game in a good way. understated, but relevant. worried about quality over quantity. you can still feel the sincerity in his voice; a sensation rarely associated with most new rappers now-a-days, especially when they smell a lil cash. i think hes built for the long-haul.

Oh and @dont hate: “Jay-Zs Mashup with this song was better”

    …..hypocritical hater.

The beat is dope (thanx Toomp…I think?), of course Wale’s lyrics are dope, and I like Colin Monroe, but dude sounds fuckin terrible on the hook.
