“On the Interstate with that Justin Timberlake.”

New Snowman off TM103. This day is startin’ to pick up. Ha!

He told MTV awhile back:

“I got a joint called ‘I Got This,’he said about the new album. “Then there’s ‘Suicide Music.’ I don’t wanna give it all up, because you’ll probably figure out where I’m going. The list goes on. To me, I know [artists] say, ‘This is going to be my best work.’ This is going to be my best work with the experience I have and I’m still me. Cats been rocking with me for four or five years. I’mma give them what they need to do and I’m gonna motivate the thugs.”

Update: Dre got the scoop. Cam touched the track first.

J Dizzle, im wit you bro. I mean, Jeezy isn’t horrible by any means but I also don’t get the hype. Then again, i don’t think the hype comes from his intricate lyrics or lack there of. I tend to give the MCs with the craziest word play, good vocab, and just pure lyricism top honors but apparently thats no longer the prerequisite to what most people consider an amazing MC. On the other hand, I like this joint from Jeezy although the reference to cocaine as a white celeb over played out (i.e. Lindsay Lohan, Britney, and now Justin Timberlake). What I do give Jeezy credit for is that he acknowledges that he isn’t on that level of lyricism, it would be scary if he did. But still, there’s got to be more, I wish he would be a little different sometimes and step outside of his comfort zone for once, spit about something else please. In any case, i’ll check out the stuff Ace mentioned in the meantime.

come shop with me go to get right music.com for that jeezy shit i feel what u saying queens but if it aint broke dont fix it TM 101 went platinium and Tm 102 went double platinum i dont now how much recession sold but last time i checked it was at least 700,000 copies sold so that gold all together he made 3.5 mill of his album its not 50 cent number or em or jay-z but it better than the average rapper who starts there career for example Cassidy lol

  9. Joe Blow says:

Damn, jeezy need to come harder than this.

  10. B.Dot says:

cant u get a link bdot i need to bump this at a very high volume

  13. Joe Blow says:

    @ hasan1
    Produced by Beewirks.

  14. I dig the record. I think people feel Jeezy’s passion and conviction first and foremost over any so-called lyricism but that’s not to sell him short on that end. Since when has intricacy = better rhymes anyway?? If someone can convey a story or a point or an emotion simply but powerfully, that’s just as valid and maybe more impressive, frankly.

  15. VVV says:

  18. Coolin says:

I co-sign what Ian said…the reason I like Jeezy is that he has impeccable charisma. This song is no exception. No, he’s not a lyrical genius, but he’s got this intangible ability to inspire and get me hyped up.
