Never saw a problem with this unless the music was plain corny but artist like Mos Def and Andre 3000 are absolutely fantastic at this “The Beggar” is one of my fav songs by Mos actually and Boogie Man
singing has always been a part of hiphop. the thing now is that everyone is looking for that commercial success and that radio hit, so they feel that gotta have a Ja-rule inspired singy songy record. 50 clowned him and then started doing the same thing. I think ja-rule should have stuck to his formula and just kept doin him, but the industry kind of turned their back on him and shit. which is real fucked up. Holla Holla
is fab saying in his tweet that one year an arena full of people were cheering for ja and a year later in the same arena the exact same people were shitting on him at a 50 concert…………….
everyone that was at the ja concert was at the 50 concert,thats extremely freaky.
