Joey is lyrically one of the best, but they ain’t sellin ciphers, they selling records…And I know he wasn’t really “goin in” on this joint….The hook was weak to me, I like the money on me concept but I think he failed to make the song a repeat listen…I like him and Crooked I better in the group…I think Royce and Ortiz are tight in and out of the group format. Lastly, I wish they all would ignore Benzino, a diss from him doesn’t alter your credibility and it could end unfavorably..

Agreed. Joe in his sleep can rap circles around 99% of rap but he needs to stop proving his lyrical ability and try to make more catchy hooks. Or end up like AZ….which isn’t such a bad thing but why not be Jay-Z?

unfortunatley these niggas dont give a fuck about records becuase they obviously makin enough paper off shows . . i really dont thing joe budden is gonna change his lyrical content for another pump it up because there are already to many people doin that . . as u said there is Jay, kanye, eminem(lyrical hit maker), drake, and many more. Slaughterhouse members individually as well as in the group all have there lyrical insanity, however. I doubt that the true SH fans are gonna want there favorite lyricists going pop bubble gum with there hits. As for The track, i thought it was dope, concept and content wise it had great emotion to it. thats what budden is all about. We also dont know what this is for seeing as there’s no hint of a mixtape or an album yet aside from the great escape being the name of his next one.

HAHA I’m loving this track!
Joey is dope, tho I’ll admit that he gets beat on most SH songs (except Microphone).
“While the light in the tunnel keep dimming, I’m a keep winning/
Rookie of the year with a buck, what up B. Jennings/” I love that line.
SLAUGHTERHOUSE
***btw, i KNOW that we all HATE it when ppl try to promote their own ametuer music on these sites! 99% of them are straight garbage MCs that have $20 mics….
BUT…. I know that this is a RR post that will have lyrical hip-hop heads looking on it!
SOOOO….
I’m going to be a hypocrite and tell ya’ll to download my FREE mixtape, “The Beat Killer”!
