New York has its share of anthems. But not since Ol Blue Eyes’ ode has a record been embraced by Big Apple folk more than Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ “Empire State Of Mind”. Fleeting pianos set the backdrop for Hov’s rugged rhymes and Alicia’s buttery chords. Even the Average Joe can sieze the day with a line like, “Where dreams are made of. There’s nothing you can’t do…” Just goes to show, it doesn’t matter where ya from — it’s where the hit’s at.
yeah. i’m sick of it. but i still like it.
if Empire State Of Mind is #4, n°1 is prob D.O.A… cause this is rocradar
Surprised this was so low. Maybe “Best I Ever Had” will be 1.
“cause this is rocradar”

Yeah, I was coming to correct him as well. I’m more surprised that he hasn’t changed it yet.
That being said, the song should be higher on the list.
I cease the day errryday!
YN’s got his mouth full again……Nas did it right, Jay-Z bites again.
Being that it such a hit and influencial songs and has become an iconic song I thought it would b higher but it’s cool … Five weeks at number one in the country can’t front on that
