I guess I’m a little late on this cat. So, i went ahead and checkout some of his stuff, and dude is pretty dope. Jay is very creative, he sometimes sounds like MF Doom tho. Dope tho, hip hop needs cats likes Jay Elect. Looking forward to more of his work.

Man I was at that show last night and let me tell you Jay has mufuckas eating out the palm of his hand. I haven’t seen that type of raw honest energy in a performance ever. The fact that he came on nervous, let the crowd know, thanked all the cats around him and proceeded to rip the stage to shreds was inspiring. It really felt like some 8 mile shit when B Rabbit got his swag back. Plus having the blastmaster KRS perform… All this with talib and mos?!!? Man Michael Rappaport was right when he said this night was like some shit straight out of the classic jazz era, when dizzie Gillespie, John Coltrane and miles Davis would show up and jam at a spot. Last night was that. Sorry for those that missed it.
pretty remarkable stuff. I’m rooting for the kid. I just hope they don’t suck him dry. I love drake’s stuff too but J remain a mystery for a lil bit.
