Yo Gotti tells MTV that he, Gucci Mane, and Young Jeezy are the streets’ last hope. “I feel like it’s our job, between me and Jeezy and Gucci — feel that’s who the streets look at as far as trap music,” Gotti explained. “So if it’s gonna be saved, we have to save it. [Save Da Trap] is me telling myself and them, ‘Don’t do it.’ We gotta save the trap — the streets want us here. We still can do what we wanna do, make any kinda music we want to do — but we gotta keep representing the trap for the trap, ’cause that’s what’s made us.” What’ll make you can also break you.
Peaking of the trap……………#TrapOrDie2

PLEASE SHUT THE F*CK UP WITH THAT SAVING THE TRAP SH*T….YOU MAKING MONEY TO GET OUT THE TRAP…KEYWORD BEING T-R-A-P!!!
TRAP ISN’T YOUR FOUNDATION FOOL…IF THAT WAS THE CASE YOU WOULD STILL BE HUSTLIN’ FOR THAT FAST CASH ALWAYS WATCHIN’ YA BACK. STOP GLORIFYING THAT MESS….
I WISH SOME OF THESE RAPPERS WOULDN’T DO INTERVIEWS…SILENCE SOMETIMES IS BEST
I wasn’t aware it was so vital to “save” something so detrimental. Whatever.
1 of the reasons I cant fully respect sum of these ‘trap rappers’ is because they dont tell both sides of the story!! Listening to sum of them,u wud think the dope game is all about “getting money” and “moving bricks” with no consequences involved. The music is just not authentic enough. Listen to UGK-they told bold sides of the story. Listen to Young buck-he tells both sides of the story. Hell listen to Master P’s old music-he mos def told both sides.
I listen to sum of Gotti’s music,Jeezy’s too,and I know they speak on topics here & there about how messed up the streets are,but I just wish they wud dwell on it more. Its families being ruined over this, dudes doin football numbers under the jail, kids being killed, and so on & so forth…
“somebody tell these shorties reach for the stars, instead they tell them how to reach through these bars, holdin a mirror looking down a tier in jail makin weapons to kill ya” -Nas, Purple.
trap music is dead, ain’t no resurrecting this non-sense. T.I. and jeezy were the last of the trappers, gucci is a joke and most people don’t even know or care about yo gotti. No offense to anybody that listens to this shit, but rapping about trapping is super duper played out and BORING. Enough with the coke tales, most of these guys suck at it anyway; the only people worth mentioning in the drug rap category are Raekwon & The Clipse everyone else is a cheap rip off.
