During their debut at SXSW, Nas and Damian sat down and discussed the creative process of Distant Relatives and bringing their music together. Get ready, the pair bridge the gap May 18th.
These dudes (Nas and Damian) are so dope…seriously! Nas is just too much for the game as it is right now…he is TRUTH (GOAT)!!!!! God given talent will always reign supreme…Nas!
this is the album im waitin 4 right here the two songs that leaked are bangers this is gonna be the best album this year trust me all yall young kids should listen to it
I dnt think this album is gonna sell well…
Nasir “Nas” Jones & Damian “Jr Gong” Marley are
Distant relatives ! Album’s gonna be classic
they deserve a grammy, huge dope
let we hear it soon, great music
believe that ! peace yall
@Majest…people have been saying that about ever Nas project but yet he gold/platinum + for 16 years…every album including his collaboration album the Firm! But fortunately opinions is just that because IMO this album is going to do well and it will have a creative sound to it! It’s the sound I’m anticipating not the sells because sells don’t equal quality music!
Nothing sells well in today’s climate. Who cares about sales now?
Anyways, I still feel this is a Damien Marley album featuring Nas rather than a collabo album seeing as Damian is doing all the production.
You would think Salaam Remi would actually have an input on this album given the fact he did Hip-Hop fused Reggae in the 90s and has the chemistry with Nas in the 2000s.
if the album is really well received
maybe a sequel would probably see the light of the day
in few years.. just because of the chemistry between nas&damian in their music
in contrario, if it’s the only one project album ..i just hope that we will can to hear the leftovers n bonus tracks (wit erikah, snoop, …). because that first tracklist was epic ! but whatever..
They choose and we enjoy. Peace
cant wait
I’m copping a couple copies when it drops and smoke to it
@ oh yes…nas hand down is top 3 mc for me but to me this is not where he should be.this project just doesnt make sense to me.with that said if your in the record industry the object is to sell records.
