If u can do better, then please sir, go ahead and do it. But if not, shut tha FUCK up and enjoy the music. Thank u…That is all…
Flow is tight, conversational rap is underrated…the ability to express thoughts without metaphors & similes AND still keep the rhyme scheme is a skill few in the game have. AND Wale’s still better at metaphors and similes than most. I really think Attention Deficit is getting the Reasonable Doubt treatment right now. I just hope Wale doesnt do a Sunshine before he gets to Hard Knock Life.

man….I tried to like this guy. I just can’t do it. It’s not like I hate him, I just cant get with it. Call me crazy…but if it’s DC music I’d rather hear Tabi Bonney.
@ melg WTF are u talking bout comparing any of this niggas songs to any jayz song??? The game is looking for hot new niggas and drake is the only one filling the spot jcole n wale n xxl freshman 09 & 10 hasn’t proved shit gtoh with ya bullshit comparisions
@ rrl it’s a joint not a jawn stop trying to purposely sound ignorant…
@Hovitime
……..It is a perfect comparison because ignorant ppl like you only look for “hot new niggas.” When Jay-Z came in the industry, hardly anybody was checking for him because his records on Reasonable Doubt were too lyrically complex for radio to want to support. Jay-Z tried to catch radio on his second LP with Sunshine, but it was too radio. He even admits that. Jay-Z did not perform well in mainstream until his third album when he dropped Hard Knock Life because it had a familiar sample but he was still talking about his regular content.
The lyrical content on Wale’s Attention Deficit is complex but relatable, so ppl who have gone through the things mentioned like it from jump. Over time more ppl will like it, but only once they have gone through something, then go back and listen to it again. In other words, TIMELESS MUSIC. My statement “I just hope Wale doesnt do a Sunshine before he gets to Hard Knock Life” is expressing my hope that he learns from what Jay-Z did and finds a way to reach more ppl with his talent without getting out of his lane.
Who exactly is “The game”? Radio program directors? 106 & Park voters? Or ppl who, at the least, have taken the time to simply know the history of the biggest name in “The game”? “The game” wishes Drake success, “The game” wishes Wale success, and “The game” wishes J.Cole success. “The game” also wishes ppl like Hovitime would get off Rap Radar and go back to keeping Justin Bieber on Trending Topics. #YesShots
@Hovitime WTF are u talking bout questioning the validity of my comparisons?
“Say you got a lot of whips, well I got a lot” – Wale. The second lot is referring to a parking lot…and that was the single for you radio listeners…but thats okay, because XXL didnt get it either…

A Parkin Lot Fool. Lol. I Dont Understand How You Could Not Understand That. XXL Played Him. Which Was Highly Unnessacary. In Order To Enjoy Wale You Need To Go Back To The Mixtapes He Put Out Before He Hit Mainstream. Ex. Back To The Feature, 100 Miles & Running, And The Mixtape About Nothing. Wale Is Currently My Favorite Rapper Because He Talks About Real Shit. The Break Up Song Is Just One Of Those Whatever Songs. Its Ok. But He Has Made So Much Good Shit In The Past It Can Cover Up For This.

you cant be serious on the comparison, for whatever reason ppl slept on jay, t dont matter. what matters is jay was on sum i hustle mega don laidback player mafia type shit when he dropped, wale is a pussy fag, ppl are sleeping on him cause he has NO lyrical content and he sucks balls, he flopped, aint no way he will come back from those numbers he did! this boy had SOOO much hype and he was on tour with jay z and was even on tv a bunch of times,
I’m convinced people like “my poop” just say things to get an argument started. So just ignore them. Either that or they are just slow.. so if that’s the case just ignore them and wish them the best.

@Hovitime
LOL it took you a day to come back and contradict yourself. It is very plain to see “hot new niggas” in your first post. When you are capable of properly expressing yourself without resting on explicit language, typing that much doesn’t take any effort. Name calling without sticking to topic is a great way to show that you have any idea what you are talking about.
I discuss hip-hop because I am a fan, just like I assume you are and we all have opinions. In the grand scheme of things, when it comes to having “nothing better to do,” I am much more concerned with topics like better education in our communities. That way, when your “bitch” gets pregnant, your child will have better schooling options than you did and be able to have grown man dialogue without sounding immature like his father. Peace and blessings man.
