Teflon Don is gonna be the shit. I can’t lie Deeper Than Rap was the best album of 2009 to me. It’s that Miami summertime feeling. EEEEEEEEEEE!

BB$. Whip it, whip it REAL hard. Bawse!

  2. dannidavito says:

i like the song (a little bit) but i wonder if BET gonna make them bleep out the word high. BET sucks big fat rhino dick nowadays, come to think about it whos gonna keep his video in rotation??? there’s always MTV Jams i guess *shurgs*

  3. Blv says:

    a lot of bad movies

  4. 2D says:

i don’t get it. anything given to that guy is a complete waste of artistic effort.

  5. Tiny Tim says:

Maybe Ross is also signed as a songwriter to Def Jam because dumping a couple mill into an album that’ll peak at 330,000 isn’t making sense to me.

  6. mike says:

defjam doesnt put millions to produce his album
    be plain and simple logical
    He sells 300 000, still
succesfull… so ? u can understand that ! if not, he wont be on defjam as a leader now

  7. King JuggaNott says:

I don’t understand how/why guys are putting numbers up in reference to what Def Jam is paying. I mean are you guys share holders are something? FYI….the music is still hot on all fronts of hip hop…..it’s the Fans that suck ass. I don’t remember watching A tribe Called Quest and wondering what they spent on the video, I don’t remember listening to KRS ONE and digging up that he was Homeless and saying to myself Awww man he’s garbage…this dude was a bum. I didn’t Knock Q-Tip because when his second album released he was still sleeping on his mamas couch.

I just don’t get it….half of y’all rock with Wayne and he kisses Baby…so why so much hate for Ross? Like Jay-Z said this generation is crazy…Y’all give props to the cat who got shot the fuck up (50 Cent), but back in the day you would give props to the shooter.

Look at the numbers artists are putting up….they have top cats pitching bricks so I don’t get the problem. If he did a weak ass video then y’all would be yapping it up about the low quality of that. Fuck it. Just listen to the music sometimes and stop being critics. What are you guy doing…listening to be entertained, or listening for flaws because you’re a critic?

  8. BJ says:

I feel you King. I think the difference back then was that people didn’t have as much information about the business side and the game wasn’t as saturated. If Special Ed made I Got It Made today, people would be like yo you lying therefore you’re wack. I’m like you though I just listen to the music but then again I’m on the outside looking in just like all fans. I mean Ricky goes hard and if his hip hop peers respect him and he still makes great music then I can respect that. I mean if everyone was as real as they’re raps… We’d be begging death row inmates to spit 16’s. Like Dre said on the Show, It’s all entertainment

  9. gerold says:

    Screw detox we have ross

  10. King JuggaNott says:

    @ BJ…I agree.
I hear a great deal of good music right now. I just think that people focus in on the personal side of what they are hearing. I couldn’t have told you where Run lived, or If Biggie was living in a Mansion or a one room shack. Where was the Wu Tang living when they recorded 36 chambers, or Red Man….well we saw how he gets down but you understand what I’m saying.

Half of the time though, It’s the artists fault because they are quick to jump in and throw something youtube showing people behind the scenes footage that a MARKETING DEPARTMENT would handle back in the day. Now…dudes are doing things on their own. Perception is reality to a certain degree…I think that more artists destroy their image than help in the current structure of ONLINE PRESENCE. I mean to be clear their was no ONLINE PRESENCE..smh.

@king jugganott I hope the rap critics appreciate the free jewllery you dropped on there head

  12. Gusto says:

Beat is dope, but Ross fucks it up imo. Hook is dull and Ross baritone voice makes the song feel so lethargic. Next!

  13. Adwiin says:

How can you hate on this man who delivers QUALITY music ??
I am actually feelin mafia music II better, but this aint bad I can bump this anywhere.
Teflon Don will be best effort so far I am presuming.

    BAWSE

  14. dollabeelz says:

i think its about time people stop hatin on the bawse,if you think about no one else is really making better music, even the so called top 5 MCs, they aint doin it like ricky, im tettin you this guy is doin it, give him his props
