The next 10 minutes are pretty informative and hilarious. Capone-N-Noreaga held a press conference and fielded questions from the press. The duo talked about the music they’re digging these days, boofin’ weed, and much more. Now excuse me, I got to fart and smoke a cigarette.
I really love everything that they are saying. I believe that it is a reason that the South bangs out and why older artist die out. I really wish that most of the artists that were in the game for a while would be more active. EVERYTHING cant be about money. I mean, I would love to see CNN, but they won’t come to New Orleans…..I would love to get a CNN mixtape but they have not put one out…have they? The MONEY prolly wouldn’t be right for them to come down here, and they prolly wouldn’t want to put out a mixtape because it would be a waste for them in so many ways.
While some of the artists up north that were used to that LABEL pampering just sat stagnate the guys down south went to work. I believe that some of the up top artists got paid and took a big ass break. Then once they cooled off they looked at the game and all scratched their heads wondering how are they going to get back into the groove of things.
I can go on and on.
Its just great to see them getting mobile. But why do all of this chit chat when you are doing your album and not just on some LET ME TALK shit without no hidden agenda.
^Word. Nothing to add that shit is 100% true.
You know you from the projects when….see the above clip! HAHA im from the Chi we got love for CNN and feel you with the radio support. Its always been rare for a Chicago artist to get play on chicago radio without having a national hit. I feel sorry for NY I use to go there and love the radio (before internet)because yall played stuff i’d never hear on the radio in the Chi, now its like watching 106 and park.
Props to CNN!
I hope thier new album has tracks similar to the real stories they told in that clip, tracks you can feel.
