Lupe and Alicia pen a kite over Chad Hugo’s instrumentation. More than likely, this is off his upcoming album, Lasers. If so, Lu should be writing a rant any minute now.
Lol at the idiot above me comparing two different concepts….
The song is hot, just not my type.
and ESOM is whack, maybe because i don’t like anything he says on that song.. NOT A HATER!!
romyrider says:
hope its not lasers, the song is ok but not laser worthy
Big G says:
What are you guys talkin about? This is dope. Lupe killed it. Alicia on the hook is always certified.

Love Lupe, Love A.Keys, don’t love this song. Lupe did his dizzle on the verses but Neptunes did’t wow me with the beat and the song seems to be a “radio player” which it becomes lackluster. Scratch it, and try again.
King JuggaNott says:
I agree @ Chillo….but the overall sound is Wack x Irrelevant ass emcee= Lasers

I think alot of yall aren’t appreciating this song for what it is. I love the fact that it’s a mash of the 70s and 80s. It’s almost an ode to past influences on hip hop today. The fact that Chad could create funky beat today is awesome. I agree that it’s not Lupe’s best verses ever, but it serves its purpose. I’m sorry, but he’s not gonna spit a miraculous verse on every track he does. I think it’s a great collabo. If anything, the only thing I would change is the volume of Alicia’s vocals. At times her vocals gets lost in the beat. Besides that, I think this is a great, different track.

Hey rapradar this hurts. You just stole my baby from me. Please take this off. You have no idea what it feels like to lose 1 song. It makes me want to stop making music “blah blah rant rant.” So please take this down

I Doubt It’ll Be Making Lasers Seeing As It’s More Alicia Than Lupe… Anyways It’s Alright I Guess IDK
Pretty funky.
pretty average for those two together. The beat sounds like 70’s funk meets the 80’s, it just sounds like a Neptunes left over.
Hope this is not Lasers bound, or maybe its a bonus track
The Instrumental Has Too Much Going On
Other Than That Its Dope
Billy Ocean +Maze = this track.
Jay-Z feat. Alicia Keys >>> Lupe feat. Alicia Keys
